Thing
It’s no secret that Shotgun Wedding enjoys
food. During a chance encounter with my parents at Taffie’s, Todd
and my dad exchanged wildly conflicting views on where to go for the best
pancakes. It got ugly. Some believe that Todd should by now
own stock in Taffie’s, and others wonder when they’ll start a frequent
flyer miles type thing so that he can get every tenth pancake free.
Brendan and Todd keep a close eye on the varying size of servings and will
publish their data soon. Brian says watch out for his pants button,
which will soon leave his pants at 200 mph and slice through a few walls
if we don’t stop eating.
I got to play the Hammond A-100 like
a Farfisa for this one because we couldn’t get any of the Farfisas to work
right. Brendan played everything else, but I had to beg him pretty
much to do the bvox. Jon came over during the mix with a harebrained
scheme to run this and that through the Big Muff or whatever, which we
absolutely did. The recording has another secret that even Jon could
barely stomach, something so daring only Brendan could handle the truth!!
