Sun Moon Surf

Last fall Felix (conure) and Micah (parrot) enjoyed several sunsets on the back patio.  Micah liked the sun right in her eyes while Felix preferred hiding behind me or hanging upside down from my hand to stay in the shade. We’d watch the sun set over our old buddy Don Gerard’s house and then, in later weeks, over Lincoln Square mall.  We’d holler “Goodbye Sun!  See you tomorrow!”  Most passersby were savvy enough not to ask.  There are other things to worry about with the words too, such as boyfriends and rotgut.  As usual Brendan was imprisoned in the B-room and forced to play everything and sing backgrounds too.  Check out the clavinet/pianet, a vintage keyboard unearthed by Pines.  When we do this one live, the instrumental section is a little longer, and if I write notes like “double the solo” then it could be four times as long, but it doesn’t matter because I usually forget to come back in anyway.

Astrological Aside: This would be better titled Sun Moon Square as a lot of that is going on in our individual and collective charts.  Including our man-in-NY Jeff Pachman, we have three people whose suns are exactly square their own moons (Gemini/Pisces, Cancer/Libra, and Taurus/Leo) and two others whose suns and moons exactly square each other (Aries/Leo and Taurus/Cancer).  Then there’s one Aquarius/Gemini whose moon squares that first guy’s sun, and whose sun opposes the third guy’s moon! Hey if you can guess who’s who, I’ll send you a prize.  And don’t worry about us at all because other than this we have mostly fortunate aspects with excessive happiness and joy predicted for all!
