Inside Only Cat

Chuck has rarely been captured by a camera but appears in numerous paintings and cartoons and even sang on an Area song once.  Revelling in stardom has helped him overcome the shyness of his youth and the ridicule he was subjected to about his tail forming a question mark and the rest of him being fat as well as the agony of having a BB pellet lodged in his butt (the likely reason for the other things).  He stomped around the piano complaining as I wrote this song.  If you ever want to see more drawings of him, write to me for Big Dang Comix #3, which is almost all cats, or for issues #1 and #2, which contain hearty helpings of same.  I can send them to you for almost free.

I put down Wurli and subsonic bass, and Brendan did the cocktail organ track.  Later, Brian Wilkie was discovered laughing with but not at us (I think), so he put down standup bass.  He suggested we retitle the song “I’ve Never Played Upright Before in My Whole Life”, although he had played it on Here It Comes the day before.  Brendan added drums.  This song will be released on a Projekt compilation CD next February (see links); all the songs are about cats, and the profits will go to a charitable organization.
